Noemí provides psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples, and families using a holistic, strengths-based approach. As a bisexual, Latinx woman, Noemí’s lived experiences have informed her extensive work with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients and underscored the necessity for culturally-competent counseling. She uses her background in dance and theatre to bring mindfulness and mind-body methodologies in sessions. This may look like using art, movement, writing, and creative expression as therapeutic tools when appropriate. In her role as Inclusion Manager, Noemí oversees Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts at all levels of Relate. Outside of work, you can find Noemí on the yoga mat, golf course, or spending time with family.

Dr. Ryan Hovis is a licensed psychologist who has an extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He has experience in multiple settings, including community mental health, inpatient, partial hospitalization, therapeutic day school, college counseling center, and inpatient. Dr. Hovis specializes in trauma, abuse, neglect, family relationships difficulties, anxiety, depression, behavioral regulation, developmental disorders, cultural responsiveness, and spirituality. Dr. Hovis believes in the importance of being seen and heard. He works to establish a strong rapport, and in this space begins to explore each client’s path to hope. With collaboration and improvisation in the therapeutic space, change begins to emerge, and people begin to discover new possibilities.
