Relate Counseling Center is a nonprofit community-based mental health center. Relate has been a leading provider of outpatient services to individuals of all ages, couples and families in the western suburbs of Minneapolis since 1969. Relate strives to be in the forefront of identifying needs in the community and providing the best possible care at the lowest cost.
Relate Counseling Center is located on the homelands of the Dakota people, which consists of several nations, each with their own geographic territories and languages. Today, Mni Sota Makoce (the state of Minnesota) shares geography with seven federally recognized Native nations. We seek to affirm the sovereignty of these nations and honor their unique cultures, recognizing how the land we occupy cultivates community and connection to the people we serve.
