Life After Loss Group
Relate Counseling Center is pleased to announce the launch of Life After Loss, an 8-week bereavement group for adults (recommended for ages 18+) who have experienced the death of a loved one within the last 5 years. The group meets every Thursday from January 23 to March 12 (6-7:15 pm). Topics covered include: understanding grief, learning coping skills to manage grief, and moving forward in life with the memory of your loved one. Cost per session is $75, insurance (including Medicare) is accepted. If you plan to bill insurance, an individual intake is required before the start of the group. A one-time group for incoming 6th graders and their parents on making the move from elementary to middle school. Join us for an interactive and fun group that explores the myths and facts of middle school, helps kids build confidence in making the transition, and teaches parents how to best support their students! Mindful Kids Group
A fun group for kids to learn skills to manage big feelings, calm anxiety and worry, and build physical and emotional strength. Parent/caretaker participation each week is recommended, but not required. A 6-week group starts July 18 for 7-11 year olds. All summer group sessions are Thursdays from 1-2:15 pm. Cost is $265.
