This summer in our local communities, we are providing Camp Emoji, a free day camp for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Led by licensed mental health clinicians, camp is designed to enhance emotional and mental well-being through intentional, therapeutic activities. We offer Camp Emoji in partnership with Orono Community Education, Wayzata Community Education, Eastern Carver Community Education, Hopkins Community Education, St. Louis Park Community Education, and Minnetonka Community Education.

Camp Emoji teaches children about core emotions including joy, anger, fear/worry, and sadness, and equips them with skills to identify and manage their feelings effectively. Campers learn techniques to improve self-regulation skills and cope with life’s challenges. We successfully offered Camp Emoji for the past two summers, and the feedback from parents has been overwhelmingly positive.

“Thank you SO SO much for offering this free camp! It is so helpful to my seven-year-old daughter who can go from 0-100 in about 5 seconds. She looked forward to each camp each day and could tell us some strategies that she learned. The best part is, she is actually using them willingly in our home. This is helpful not only to my child but the rest of our family living with her!! Thank you! Please keep this program going”
