Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides psychotherapy for children and families in the School Linked Mental Health Program at Relate. Rachel also provides clinical supervision for both practicum students and clinicians at Relate. Her approach to therapy and supervision is based in relational, person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-focused, culturally sensitive, and collaborative approaches. Rachel is mindful of brain development and how life transitions/adjustments and mental illness affect growing brains and bodies. Her goal is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and compassionate environment where clients and their families are encouraged, challenged, and empowered. Outside of work, Rachel can be found camping, hiking, skiing, or playing with her dogs. 

Therapeutic Modalities: Play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, attachment, mindfulness, narrative, stress reduction and behavioral-change models

Certifications/Training: EMDR level 1 (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), NET (Narrative Exposure Therapy), MIM and Theraplay® level 1 training, and in the process of completing RPT (Registered Play Therapist) credentialing
