Rachel works with families and clients in the school-based setting. She enjoys working with clients ages 6-14 and who fall on the neurodivergent spectrum. Rachel likes to build a strong connection with clients coming from a strength-based approach. She enjoys bringing humor and warmth into her sessions to help clients feel safe. She likes to come alongside clients as they work through life situations and challenges helping them write their life stories. She utilizes strategies from narrative therapy, EMDR, ART, CBT, and systemic approaches. Rachel approaches areas of life from a trauma-informed perspective. Rachel also works to incorporate play therapy into sessions with all ages. Outside of therapy, you can find Rachel cooking a yummy meal for her friends and family, being outside with her husband and kids, and enjoying a long walk while listening to music or an audiobook.
