School Services Therapist
Wayzata School District
Kayla provides psychotherapy for high school students and their families in the School Linked Mental Health program. Kayla believes that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation to change, and she continuously tends to this with her students and their families. She approaches therapy with a relational, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based lens. Kayla focuses on the multiple systems each person is a part of and how this impacts who they are in the world. She spends her time away from the office with family and friends, hiking, playing board games, puzzling, baking, and meeting as many dogs as she can!
