Practicum Manager | Clinical Supervisor | Office-Based Therapist
Josh is excited to guide Relate in providing high quality and supportive learning experiences for graduate students in social work, psychology, and marriage and family therapy. Josh has experience in direct clinical service, clinical supervision, case management, and residential treatment. Josh is dedicated to collaborative processes, anti-oppressive practice, and learning throughout the lifespan. Josh also provides supervision for staff therapists, practicum therapists, and therapists seeking independent licensure.
Additionally, Josh provides office-based individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy for adolescents (ages 12+) and adults. Josh’s therapeutic strengths lie in his ability to provide a safe environment to explore and work through vulnerable experiences and remove obstacles to wellness.
Therapeutic Modalities: psychodynamic, humanistic, relational perspective, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, accelerated resolution therapy (ART).
Specialties: Relationship concerns, grief/loss, couples, parenting, LGBTQIA+, trauma, self-esteem.
Certifications/Trainings: Program Certificate – Advanced Psychotherapy Program, Minnesota Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
