School Services Practicum Therapist
Hopkins School District
Jay strongly values creating a space where adolescents feel known, valued, and understood. She believes every teen deserves an environment where they feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Her approach is rooted in empathy, highlighting each client’s strengths while also identifying and honoring their individual needs. Jay believes that vulnerability can foster connection, and she uses this belief to help clients build meaningful relationships and experiences. She recognizes that life can be hard and encourages her clients to approach their challenges with curiosity, exploring how they can grow and move forward through difficult experiences. Outside of work and classes, Jay enjoys spending time with friends, hiking, and going on walks with her dog, Bailey.
