School-Based Practicum Therapist

Emily is a school-based practicum therapist at Bluff Creek Elementary and Chaska Middle School East. Emily has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the College of Saint Benedict and is in her final year of her Master of Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Emily’s approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, working to meet each client where they are at. She aims to build skills to help them with current issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, family changes, life transitions, and self-esteem, while also working to create lifelong coping skills and healthy strategies. Outside of Relate, Emily enjoys hiking, reading, sewing, and spending time with her friends and family.
