Office-Based Practicum Therapist

Tina Hoversten is a master’s-level counseling student and office-based practicum therapist. She identifies as a white, cisgender woman. Tina brings a strong service-oriented background to her clinical work, shaped by years of nonprofit leadership and her current role as a volunteer crisis counselor providing suicide prevention, emotional support, and safety planning for individuals in distress. Guided by a trauma-informed, relational lens, she helps clients feel seen, heard, and valued while supporting emotional regulation, mindfulness, and a holistic, strengths-based approach to achieving goals aligned with their values. Tina believes healing happens in connection and is committed to creating a safe, collaborative therapeutic environment that honors each client’s lived experience.

Outside of her professional work, Tina enjoys reading, long walks, sunny days, dark chocolate, and time with friends and family. She values creating and leading opportunities for connection and community engagement and believes that everyone has something meaningful to contribute.
