Andrea is a School Services Therapist Practicum Student providing school-based therapy for elementary-aged children. She takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to therapy and incorporates cognitive behavioral and child-centered techniques to support emotional and behavioral growth. Her clinical interests include working with children experiencing trauma and behavioral challenges, as well as exploring how these experiences impact their overall well-being. Andrea is currently a second-year Master of Social Work student with prior experience as an elementary school teacher and is passionate about helping children build resilience and thrive in both school and home environments. Outside of her practicum, she enjoys spending time with her own school-aged children, cheering them on at sporting events, exploring the outdoors, and attending concerts.
