Emily provides therapy to children and adolescents in a school-based setting with Relate, where she brings a warm, collaborative, and holistic approach to supporting children and teens. Emily identifies as a white, cisgender, heterosexual woman. She is a dedicated LGBTQIA+ ally and committed to creating inclusive and affirming spaces for all students. Emily’s undergraduate background is in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies, and she is currently completing her master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. With a strong ability to connect with young clients, Emily tailors each therapeutic experience, using a variety of techniques and modalities to meet the unique needs of every student. Emily values creating a safe, inviting space where students feel heard and empowered to grow both emotionally and socially, as well as foster lasting and positive change. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.
