School Services Practicum Therapist

Steph offers school-based therapy for students at Wayzata High School. She approaches sessions with the ideology that “safety is treatment,” and the work of all therapeutic modalities flows from establishment of felt safety in the therapeutic relationship. Steph focuses on Cognitive-behavioral Therapy and Emotions-Focused Therapy practices in her work, peppering in narrative work as appropriate for each student’s needs and goals. Outside of work, Steph loves taking hiking trips, reading mystery thrillers, and is learning the art of sourdough bread.
Therapeutic Modalities: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotions-focused therapy (EFT), narrative, trauma-informed, mindfulness.
