Kristine primarily utilizes Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Sand Tray techniques in work with children and families. She follows a humanistic approach focused on the relationship with the client and accessing what they already have within them to heal. Kristine is passionate about play therapy and has developed Play Heals, a training series which guides mental health professionals to become play therapists. She also provides individual and group supervision for practicum students and Relate therapists seeking independent licensure. Kristine has a dog, Sadie, who accompanies her in sessions and is in training to be a therapy dog. Outside of Relate you can find Kristine at the dog park with Sadie, at the cabin with family and friends, or in a hammock listening to the sounds of nature.
