Kristi provides individual therapy for adolescent and young adult females (ages 12-35). Before coming to Relate, Kristi worked with children, adolescents, and adults in crisis and residential settings. During therapy, she enjoys exploring patterns and making connections between current responses and previous experiences while simultaneously challenging cognitive distortions, identifying emotions, and reducing maladaptive coping strategies. Kristi understands the importance of trust and safety in a relationship and takes a person-centered, strengths-based, and authentic approach to building rapport. Outside of therapy, she enjoys training her Shiloh Shepherd puppy Kai, any activity that involves being in or on water, trying new restaurants, and reading.
