Emily is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who provides psychotherapy for children and families in the School Services Mental Health Program at Relate. Her approach to therapy is based in relationship-building, humanistic, strengths-based, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and attachment approaches. She maintains a present-moment mindset rooted in the fact that all individuals are doing the best they can with the skills they possess. Her goal is to provide a space where individuals feel safe, seen, and understood, so they are able to gain coping skills. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, and being out in nature.
