Elizabeth is a second-year Master’s student working toward her Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy degree. Elizabeth has several years of experience working in community-based, non-profit, and educational settings, where she has enjoyed connecting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds with the resources to be successful. As an Americorps alumni, she has had the opportunity to serve communities facing barriers and meeting families where they are at. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, Elizabeth worked as a teacher, which gave her valuable insight into the educational system and the unique needs of children and families. Elizabeth’s approach to therapy is strengths-based and person-centered, with a focus on building trust, respect, and rapport within the therapeutic relationship. Elizabeth is particularly passionate about working with children ages 6-17, supporting their social and emotional learning, and helping them build strong peer relationships. She is also interested in supporting couples navigating relationship dynamics and communication challenges. Elizabeth values cultural sensitivity and strives to create an inclusive, compassionate space where clients feel heard and respected. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, exploring nature, and attending live music events.
