School-Based Doctoral Practicum Therapist

Abby provides psychotherapy to children and families in the school-based setting. Abby identifies as a White, neurodivergent, cisgender female. She is working on completing her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas and is currently being supervised by a Licensed Psychologist while at Relate. Abby’s holistic therapeutic approach is informed by various theoretical perspectives that help her be flexible and creative in adapting to the specific needs of each client. Her warm style facilitates a safe and collaborative space for authentic exploration in what it means to be human and foster healing in this life. Abby considers it an honor to walk alongside a client, with all our pasts, present, relationships, environments, and systems we operate within, to nurture our overall well-being. Outside of work, Abby enjoys being in nature, daydreaming, practicing yoga, traveling, eating new foods, and spending time with animals or creating art.
