Early Childhood Therapist

We are seeking a qualified psychotherapist to provide co-located therapy at an early childhood learning center and outpatient clinic.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the mental health services for clients ages 6 and under
  • Conduct DC: 0-5 assessments and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop related treatment plans
  • Provide ongoing, developmentally appropriate psychotherapy
  • Provide relevant parent coaching to meet treatment plan goals
  • Consult and collaborate with necessary providers
  • Maintain ongoing documentation of services

Job requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy required
  • Experience working with children under age 6 and their parents is a must
  • Independent licensure is preferred
  • DC: 0-5, CPP and PCIT training is preferred
  • Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record system

Development Manager – Individual Donors

Seeking a dynamic and creative Development Manager of Individual Donors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is a front-line fundraiser responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects and donors capable of investing $500 and above. The Development Manager is expected to devote 80% of their work time to major gift fundraising activities and 20% to other related responsibilities.  

Fundraising: 80%

  • In coordination with the Executive Director, develop and execute annual work plans designed to achieve both individual goals and organization-wide priorities.
  • Serve as the primary contact manager for a portfolio of prospects and donors capable of making gifts of $500 and above. 
  • Responsible for all aspects of the donor continuum, including identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. Build, maintain, and monitor relationships with prospects and benefactors.
  • Work closely with the Relate team on fundraising and awareness events.
  • Engage the entire organization with communications to develop and implement plans that may involve the Executive Director, board members and staff, to participate in the cultivation and solicitation of individual prospects and donors.

Collaborative Development Efforts: 20%

  • Work closely and effectively with Relate’s Development Committee to expand prospect identification and enhance engagement
  • Provide visible leadership across the entire organization as a member of the Development team by engaging in organization-wide activities such as development meetings, all-staff meetings, and staff events
  • Work closely and effectively with Relate’s Community Development Manager on drafting and editing donor-related communications content, including website content, newsletters, marketing materials, social media postings and more. 
  • Perform development-related administrative duties including timely entry of prospect data and activities into the donor data base (Donorperfect)

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and seven to ten years demonstrated ability to successfully solicit major gifts; or experience in marketing, sales, public relations, financial advisement or related field with emphasis on relationship cultivation and solicitation of individuals/businesses. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate a strong and compelling case for support.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create strong professional relationships with colleagues and donors.
  • Ability to effectively and authentically represent the interests and fundraising priorities of the organization.
  • Strategic, hardworking, and able to work with a high degree of flexibility in a highly-collaborative environment.
  • Ability to effectively work with volunteer boards to assist with donor relationship development and to advance significant philanthropic support for the organization.
  • Access to reliable transportation. 
  • Ability to work some limited evenings as necessary. 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Significant history (more than five years) of helping individuals with philanthropic giving of $500 or more
  • Demonstrated experience in prospect cultivation and solicitation process
  • Experience working at various sized nonprofits.
  • Strong commitment to providing access for families to community mental health services
  • Capital/Investment Campaign experience preferred.
